Red Revenge
Description
(It is possible that the poems were poorly translated from Russian to English, but to convey their spirit, here is this description)

This song is about a generation of people who managed to pull the country out of ruin, win World War II, and 10 years later begin to conquer space

Lyrics to the song "Titans" - Red Revenge (on English)

TITANS

We shared our feasts on the world’s far edge,

Under the stars we whispered our vows.

Shields in the dust and our armor grown old,

Yet even Death we dared to cut down.

Peoples united, a brotherly bond,

Equal with equal we wandered.

Heaven was calling — “Come follow the light,”

And skyward the warriors summoned.

We were the strength that could carry the peaks,

We were the fire that punished the faithless.

No one could kill us — only betray —

So sang the old mountain legends…

Our home lay broken! (Our home was burned!)

Blood‑ties were scattered and severed.

The hero fell — and the Union was dust,

The Titan’s backbone was shattered.

We were betrayed (by our own within),

Freedom gave way into ruin.

Brother met brother with anger and fear,

Fighting themselves into darkness.

On ancient shields our faces return,

Old blades are shining once more.

The world forgot all our power and grace,

And all of our banners have fallen.

Everything’s traded and sold once again —

Greedy and grasping the takers.

The wound is open, the blood never sleeps,

While tyrants look down from their towers.

Only the winds cry alone through the fields,

Ghosts of the villages fading.

Greedy buffoons and the cowardly horde

Drain the last lifeblood from nations…

Sleep now, you mighty — memory holds.

Somewhere in tales yet unspoken,

They will remember the deeds that you forged,

And Titans will rise again…

(And Titans will rise again…)

War will awaken — their eyes will unseal!

Hearts will beat louder and brighter.

Freedom’s own songs are the water of life —

Let them run wild through our veins!

Ancient defenders will rise among us,

False‑hearted cowards will vanish.

All the corrupted will fall to the pit,

Where all the wicked are gathered.

The thrones of tyrants have fallen,

The mother has found her child!

Vows under the sky and a feast until dawn,

The stars await us like an eaglet!

Sleep now, you mighty — memory holds.

Somewhere in legends still forming,

They will remember the deeds that you forged,

And Titans will rise again…

(Titans…)

Interesting facts:

The song is dedicated to the Soviet titans who tamed the atom and conquered the stars.

When writing the song, I recalled the legendary story of an old Indian sailor:

"We were sailing on a rusty trough filled with frozen fish, offal, and fuel oil. Dirty, angry, having not seen women or proper food for six months. The South Atlantic, the heat, the stench of scales.
And suddenly a mountain appeared on the horizon. Dazzlingly white. Without a single speck of rust. Above it, cyclopean antenna cups, like the ears of a god. It was the research ship "Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin."
When we got closer, we stopped working and simply glued ourselves to the sides.

People were walking along the deck of the "Gagarin." But these weren't sailors in our understanding. These were celestial beings. Women in light dresses, men in clean white shirts and shorts. They weren't hauling nets; they were reading books in deck chairs!

And then I saw her... She stood there in a flowing sundress, barefoot, holding a book, the wind tousling her hair. She looked at the ocean as if it were a backdrop to her deep thoughts, not a hostile element trying to devour us...
Speakers broadcast unearthly music across the Atlantic. This sound overlapped with the clanking of our winches and the swearing in the engine room. It was the music of a world that had conquered fear and want.
They had libraries, swimming pools, and gyms on board. We lived in a world of things and fish, and they lived in a world of cosmic signals and meanings. While we were knee-deep in guts and slime, fighting for a plan, they, up there, above us, conversed with the stars.
It seemed that if they called us now, we wouldn't be able to enter—we were simply physically made of a different, coarser substance.
And then I realized: this is communism. Not the kind they write about in the newspapers, but the real thing. A world where man is not a slave to food, but the master of the universe. They lived in the world we only dreamed of while cleaning our herring.
Years passed. We survived and still haul in fish and fuel oil. And they—the men in white robes—disappeared. It turned out that the world of the future was too fragile...

After its release, the composition took 5th place in the world chart Suno!
A week after its release, the song moved up to number 14 on the world charts' best songs of the week:
The working title of the song was "Bogatyri", and it evolved over the course of the process.
It's a rare case when the lyrics were written on the same day as the music for the song.
